About Us

We met through our work in marketing and communications, where we quickly bonded over a shared love of storytelling, strong visuals, and chasing good light. With backgrounds in both marketing and video production, we bring a creative eye and a thoughtful approach to every wedding we film.

At Kenn & Laur Films, our goal is simple: capture the real stuff—the laughs, the teary hugs, the wind in your veil, and the little glances that say everything. We believe your wedding video should feel like you—not just in style, but in soul. From the vibe to the aesthetic to the way your story unfolds on screen, we want it to reflect your day exactly as you lived it—honestly, joyfully, and beautifully.

The power of video has always pulled me in. I love how it can make you feel—whether it’s a tear, a laugh, or that goosebump moment you want to relive again and again. With a Master's degree in Communications from York University and years of experience in marketing, I’ve learned how to craft stories that not only capture attention but hold emotion. I spent a few years living in Toronto, played rugby for over a decade, and now I channel that same passion and grit into filmmaking.

These days, I live for all the “girly” things—pink, sparkles, flowers—and share life with my two cats and my fiancé. Can I film my own wedding? Probably not. But I can’t wait to film yours. I bring my heart and soul to every project, and I promise—I'll make you look amazing.

With a background in marketing and video production—and a diploma in Library and Information Technology from MacEwan—storytelling has always been at the heart of what I do. Whether it's in the pages of a good book or behind the lens of a camera, I love getting lost in a great story and helping others tell theirs.

When I’m not editing or capturing perfect moments on film, you can find me curled up in a cozy spot with my dog, my cat, and a good movie (especially during spooky season—Halloween is my fave). I believe that magical feeling you get when a video just clicks—the flow, the timing, the emotion—is non-negotiable. That’s the feeling I chase with every wedding I film.

Also, yellow is my favourite colour. Just thought you should know.
